12 Free Christmas Printables: Writing Prompts & Copywork
Christmas time is here…happiness and cheer…and cooler weather down here in Florida! I couldn’t be happier. Winter is probably my favorite season here because the humidity drops and it feel like a northern fall most days until late March. <3
It also means FREE PRINTABLES for you!
If you’ve read some of my other posts then you already know this, but in our homeschool, we do a four day work week and then have “Fun Fridays”. Our Fun Fridays consist of field trips, playdates, STEM and science experiments, and at least one Friday a month of holiday/seasonal themed activities.
I created these free Christmas printables as an add-on to any holiday themed lesson or unit in the month of December. We use them on our holiday-themed Fridays, but they can be incorporated anywhere into your homeschool or classroom!
The first 2 free Christmas printables are writing prompts. One is for The Polar Express and the other for How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Both sets of writing prompts can be used with ages Preschool to 3rd grade. The lower level one requires a creative drawing, the middle level requires a drawing with a couple of sentences, and the upper level requires a written response only, but you could give them a blank paper to illustrate it as well!
The last 10 free Christmas printables are copywork. Each one consists of a quote from a Christmas song or movie or a Bible verse.
