2 Free Coloring Book Printables: Weather and Landforms
If you’re new to this blog, then you may not know that we use Gather Round Homeschool as the spine of our curriculum. We also implement Charlotte Mason aspects, but we love the family style, unit study approach that Gather Round offers!
We began this school year with the Earth Science Unit and I wanted to create something that my 4 year old could do while we read the lesson together.
Because these are coloring books, any age can use them, but I specifically created them with younger children in mind. 🙂
Even though these free coloring book printables were created to go along with the Gather Round Earth Science Unit, they would be great as an addition to any study of weather or just as a stand alone coloring book!

This coloring book is designed to be able to print front and back and be made into an actual coloring book. This can be done spiral bound, stapled, or three ring binder/folder.
Printing it front and back is not necessary though…it could easily just be printed page by page if you only want certain ones!
Here is how I made ours:
I just used a clear front, three-pronged folder! It’s thin, but with the clear front, it still resembles a coloring book…or at least I think so!
I made the mistake of printing mine front and back on regular printer paper and, as you can see, the pictures from the other side are slightly visible. I’m going to go ahead and use it this way, but if you don’t want that to happen, use cardstock if printing on the front and back. 🙂
