3 Free Halloween Printables - Book Inspired Writing Prompts

It’s that time of year! Cooler, crisper air (unless you live in Florida like me, of course), the changing of leaves, pumpkin everything, and the excitement of our little ones over what they’re going to dress up as for Halloween.

In our homeschool, we do a four day work week and then have “Fun Fridays”. Our Fun Fridays consist of field trips, playdates, STEM and science experiments, and at least one Friday a month of holiday/seasonal themed activities.

I created these writing prompt worksheets to go along with some of our favorite October books. We use them on our holiday themed Fridays but they can be incorporated anywhere into your homeschool or classroom!

Each set of free halloween printables can be used with ages Preschool to 3rd grade. The lower level one requires a creative drawing, the middle level requires a drawing with a couple of sentences, and the upper level requires a written response only, but you could give them a blank paper to illustrate it as well!
